French photo reporter specialised in economy, Mario Fourmy documents work realities and business life, always maintaining a citizen point of vue. He puts also his interest on landscape transformations, life style evolutions, and the main events of political and social life. |
From family firms to worldwide corporations, from Andalusia to the North Sea, he meets leaders, students, workers or traders. Nothing lets him unconcerned. Witness of our surroundings, his eye approaches with both exigency and curiosity, the anonymous worker at his task, as well as the powerfull leader giving a press conference. Usually by the scene, Mario Fourmy sometimes likes keeping his distance, in order to better capture, from afar, the changing patterns of human activities. His work is represented by SIPA Press and REA agency in Paris, and Cordon Press in Spain. After living in Paris, then five years in Madrid, he choses Marseille as his new home in 2008. | |
